Adventure Camp for Christ is a great ministry for awana youth. It is a summer camp for 4th grade though 12th grade that have completed Start Zone, Trek Check or Faith Foundation during that club year. It is a great way to motivate clubbers to finish their books, but that's not all. It also gives them a chance to be in an environment with others like themselves trying to follow the Lord. They are able to encourage one another and they find others who follow God like they do. They will be doing personal devotions, memorizing scripture, having chapel and group devotions. There are game competitions and free time each day to enjoy the Zipline, Chair swing, and miniature golf plus many other fun free time activities. They will thank you and come back year after year. I could write many pages telling you about the benefits and experiences of many clubbers that have gone through camp; but the real test is to try it for yourself. |
